How do I make a payment?

To make a payment using your physical Weel Visa Debit card*, follow these steps:

  1. When making a purchase at a terminal, tap, insert or swipe your card.

  2. If you’re prompted to select a payment type, select the "Credit/CR" button on the terminal to ensure you're using the Visa network for processing. This selection is important to avoid transaction declines.

  3. Despite the terminology, choosing 'credit' on your debit card will still utilise the funds available in your account for the transaction.
