Weel applies a default maximum to every Accounts Payable (AP) bill or reimbursement payment you submit, set per currency. Knowing your limit means fewer surprises on a large payment and a clear path to request a higher one when you need it. This overview covers how limits work and what to do if you need more room.
How It Works
- AUD/NZD default limit: Every AP bill or invoice you pay in AUD or NZD is capped at $100,000 per bill, with no cap on how many you submit.
- Other currencies have their own limit: USD, GBP, EUR and CAD follow different defaults: GBP is lower ($50,000), USD is lower ($75,000), CAD is higher ($300,000).
- Reimbursements share the same cap: Employee reimbursement claims are capped at the same $100,000 default as AUD/NZD bills, so you always know what to expect.
- Limit changes apply to both. If your payout limit is ever changed, the change applies to AP and Reimbursements together, not just one.
- Request a higher limit anytime: Please email help@letsweel.com with your reasoning and expected usage; our team reviews every request before approving it.
- Use AP for large card purchases: If a purchase would exceed your card's transaction limit, paying it as a bill through AP is usually the better route.
