Weel Academy is your how-to hub. It's a single page with short, guided walkthroughs for setting up and getting the most out of Weel. It pairs each step of your setup with a quick video or interactive demo, so you can learn and do at the same time.
How to open Weel Academy
You can reach Weel Academy from:
- The Setup Guide pinned to the bottom-right of the screen. Click Learn more in Weel Academy.
- Your dashboard Getting Started card. Follow the Show me how links.
What's in Weel Academy
Weel Academy has two parts to it:
1) Your Steps
This is on the left-hand side of the Weel Academy. It contains steps you need to complete spending, alongside the steps you can complete after spending is unlocked to get the most out of Weel.
- Steps to unlock spending → these are the essentials that get your business spending, with a progress bar and estimate of how many minutes you have left.
- Steps once you've unlocked spending → these are steps we recommend you complete to get the most out of Weel, grouped into three tracks:
- Start spending. Get the app and make your first card payment.
- Bring in your team. Invite your team and setup Weel to scale with your business.
- Automate your spend. Turn on Weel AI and pay supplier invoices with Accounts Payable.
2) The Walkthrough
This is on the right-hand side of the Weel Academy. Select any step to open its walkthrough. Each one includes:
- A short video or interactive demo showing exactly what to do.
- A quick description and a time estimate.
- A button that takes you straight to where you complete the step in Weel, and a link to the next step once done.
How does Weel Academy work?
Weel Academy shows the steps that apply to you.
Admins see the full setup and all recommended tracks; team members see the steps relevant to spending, like making a card payment and completing an expense. Required steps tick off automatically as you complete them, and your progress is shared across the dashboard, the Setup Guide and Academy, so it's always in sync wherever you look.
Once you've finished the required steps, the focus shifts to getting more out of Weel, so there's always a sensible next thing to explore.
