Weel posts each cleared or refunded transaction straight into your MYOB AccountRight bank register, so you reconcile it like any other MYOB account (see Understanding Your Accounting Export Sync Status).
Before you start
- Weel posts each transaction directly into your MYOB bank register as a Spend Money entry, not a bank feed, so you reconcile it the same way as any manually entered transaction. This includes full line-item detail, GST and receipt attachments, and covers reimbursements too if reimbursement export to MYOB is enabled for your business.
- Transactions export automatically once they're settled (Cleared or Refunded) and every expense field is complete, including a final approval decision if your business uses Approval Rules. This normally happens within minutes, not on a fixed overnight schedule.
- Check that a transaction's Status column in Weel reads Export complete before assuming it's missing from MYOB.
Steps
- Open MYOB Account Right.
- Open the Banking tab.
- Click Reconcile Accounts.
- Enter the date you want to reconcile to in the Bank Statement Date field.
- Tick the box next to each transaction you want to reconcile.
-
Make sure the Closing Statement Balance in MYOB Account Right matches the closing balance on Weel's Transactions page for the same period.
- Click the info icon next to Closing on the Transactions page to see the exact definition (it sums transactions that cleared within your selected date range), and match your Weel date filter to the period you're reconciling.
- Click Reconcile in MYOB Account Right.
What happens next
Unlike Xero, MYOB has no separate reconciled status inside Weel: your transaction's Status column already shows Export complete once it exports, regardless of whether you've reconciled in MYOB. Reconciling itself is an MYOB-side bookkeeping step Weel doesn't need to know about.
