Connecting Weel to MYOB AccountRight automatically exports your expense data to MYOB, ready for reconciliation. This article covers how to connect your company file and map your chart of accounts.
Before you start
You will need:
- Admin access to your Weel account.
- To be an Administrator for the MYOB company file you're connecting.
- Your MYOB account email address and password.
- Your company file username and password — these are usually different to your MYOB account login.
Steps
To connect Weel to MYOB AccountRight:
- Click Settings > Integrations.
- On the MYOB AccountRight tile, click Connect.
- You'll be taken to MYOB — log in with your MYOB account email address and password to authorise the connection.
- Back in Weel, select your company file from the dropdown and click Next.
- Enter your company file username and password, then click Complete integration.
- Tip: Try Administrator as the username and leave the password empty. If that doesn't work, see What username and password do I enter on the connect company file screen for the MYOB Account Right Integration?
- On the Integration Successful screen, click Continue to map chart of accounts.
- In the Chart of Accounts tab, map each Weel category to an accounting code, then save your mapping.
What happens next
Once connected, expense data exports to MYOB automatically after it's completed, cleared and approved (if required):
- Card transactions and reimbursements export as Spend Money transactions.
- Accounts Payable invoices export as Purchase Bills, with payments recorded against them. Please note, invoice export is currently in beta — reach out to help@letsweel.com to have it enabled.
To pull the latest accounting codes from MYOB at any time, click Sync with MYOB in the Chart of Accounts tab.
