Weel's web app uses a collapsible left-hand sidebar and a header bar across the top, so core tools stay close at hand without crowding your screen. The sidebar groups everyday actions by feature area, while the header gives quick access to your balance, invites, notifications and settings. Together they keep navigation consistent regardless of your role or business setup.
How It Works
- Collapsible sidebar: Collapsed to icon width by default; expands on hover, or pin it open, so it's always available without taking up space.
- Dashboard and everyday tools: Dashboard sits first, followed by Cards, Subscriptions, Accounts Payable and Reimbursements (where enabled) for day-to-day spend actions.
- Budgets and spend controls: Below a second divider: Budgets, Purchase Orders (Premium plans), Transactions and Approvals help you manage spend end-to-end.
- Permission-based extras: Approval Rules, Reports, Suppliers and the newer AI Spend (a limited rollout for Business Admins) appear based on your role, plan and setup.
- Header shortcuts: Check your account balance, send an Invite, view notifications, and open Settings to manage your account.
- Switch businesses fast: Your business name (icon plus a PENDING tag if unverified) opens options to add a business, log out, or switch between businesses.
Good to know
- Some header items are permission-gated. The account balance, including its low-balance warning, requires account settings access (typically Business Admins) and is hidden entirely on the multi-entity dashboard view. Settings' User management option needs people or role permissions; Account settings itself is always available.
- The sidebar doesn't show "Payments" or "Spend Management" as on-screen labels; items are simply grouped by two divider lines.
- Accounts Payable expands into its own sub-menu, including Batch Payments where available; Suppliers may appear there instead of as its own sidebar item.
