When AI categorisation is enabled on your account, Weel AI will automatically assign a category to card expenses for all users. It does this by learning your organisation’s unique patterns so transactions are coded quickly and consistently.
You’ll see the suggested category on each transaction in both the web and mobile apps. You can always change it; updates you make are remembered and improve future suggestions. All users will still need to review and submit each expense on completion.
How do I enable AI auto-categorisation?
- Open AI and automation settings on the Weel web app
- Enable Auto-complete categories under the Weel AI section
- Weel AI will automatically start categorising all new card transactions.
How do I change a suggested category?
- Go to Expenses in the Weel mobile app or the Transactions page on the web app
- Open the relevant transaction
- In the Category field select a new category
- Click Update or once all fields are complete you can Submit your expense
