Welcome to Weel. As a team member, getting started takes three quick steps: get the Weel mobile app, make your first card payment, and complete your first expense.
This guide walks you through each one.
Before you start
You will need:
- An invite to Weel from your Admin (check your email to accept it and set your password)
- A smartphone handy to install the Weel mobile app
Steps
1) Get the Weel Mobile App
You'll use the Weel mobile app to pay with your cards and capture receipts on the go.
- Download Weel from the App Store (iOS) Or Google Play (Android).
- Log in with the email and password you set from your invite.
- Follow the prompts to add your card to your mobile wallet, so you can tap and pay!
2) Make a Card Payment
Once your Admin has assigned you to a budget, your Weel card is ready to use.
- Open the Weel mobile app to see budgets assigned to you.
- Select the budget you wish to pay with, by clicking "Use budget in Wallet".
- Pay in-store by tapping your phone, or use your card details to pay online.

3) Complete an Expense Report
After you spend, Weel asks you to complete the expense; adding a receipt and any details your business needs. Doing this straight away keeps your finance team happy and your spending uninterrupted.
- Open the transaction in the Weel Mobile App.
- Take a photo of your receipt, or upload one.
- Add any required details in and save.

What Happens Next?
That's it! You're all set up.
Your dashboard becomes your personal home for spending: your cards, your recent payments and requests, and any incomplete expenses that still need a receipt or detail. See understanding the team member dashboard for more details.
Keep the mobile app handy! Completing expenses as you go is far quicker is doing them all later.
Things To Remember
- You may be asked to enter a PIN for some in-store payments. See what happens if I'm prompted to enter a PIN?
- If a payment is declined, your budget may be out of funds or your card may be blocked. Check with your Admin or your budget owner!
