Weel sends an email and push notification whenever a budget is topped up, giving your team real-time visibility into changes. Who's notified depends on the budget type: everyone on a standard budget, or just the affected member on a budget with individual limits. There's no in-app way to turn this off, but Support can help.
How It Works
- Budget top-up alerts: Weel sends an email and push notification the moment a budget is topped up, so your team always knows about changes.
- Standard budgets: Every member on the budget is notified, keeping the whole team aligned on spending changes.
- Budgets with individual limits: Only the member whose personal limit changed is notified, so alerts stay relevant instead of noisy.
- Notification preferences in Settings: Lets you choose instant or digest timing for approval notifications, though it doesn't cover budget top-up alerts.
Good to know
- There's no self-service way to turn off budget top-up notifications from within the app today.
- Contact Weel Support if you want budget top-up notifications turned off for your business. Support can suppress them on request.
