If you've been added to a budget but it isn't selectable in your Weel mobile app yet, these steps will get it showing; see Understanding Budgets.
Being notified that you've been added to a budget means the membership itself was created successfully; that part is instant and reliable. If it's still not showing up as selectable, work through these steps in order.
-
Log out of the Weel mobile app, then log back in.
- Reopening or restarting the app on its own isn't reliable; only a login or a business switch forces a full refresh, so if you use more than one business, switching to a different one and back also works.
- Check that the budget is currently Active. A budget that's scheduled to start later, or has already ended, won't show in the mobile app no matter how many times you refresh.
- Confirm you're viewing the business the budget was added under. Budgets are scoped to whichever business is currently selected in the app, so a budget added under a different business won't show until you switch to it.
- Contact Weel Support with the budget's name if it's still not showing after logging out and back in. This usually means the membership has since changed, or the budget isn't Active yet, and Support can check both directly.
What happens next
Your card for the budget issues automatically, in a separate step that runs after your membership is created and involves a live call to our card network partner; it normally finishes within seconds. Two separate things are true about this, and neither changes the other:
- It never affects whether the budget itself appears in your list. Visibility depends only on your membership and the budget's status.
- If the budget's payment type doesn't include card payments at all, no card is issued for it, at any point. That's expected behaviour, not a fault.
