Before you start
-
You'll need Weel's Owner, Admin, or Accountant role, or a custom role with the Settings: Update permission, to start the connection in Weel. Check Settings > User Management if you're not sure who has this.
- If you do not know who has the Administrator role, please contact MYOB Product Support for assistance.
-
On the MYOB desktop screen, untick "This user will sign on with a my.MYOB account (Recommended)" before you start or restart the connection. Leaving it ticked makes the company file behave like SSO, and Weel can't complete the connection.
- Only an admin user in MYOB can change this setting, and it can't be actioned from Weel or the integration setup. There's no specific Weel error message for this, so if a connection isn't completing and the cause isn't obvious, this is the first thing to check.

Steps
To connect MYOB AccountRight to Weel:
- From Weel, go to Settings > Integrations and start the MYOB AccountRight connection.
-
Log in with your MYOB account (my.MYOB) email address and password when you're redirected to MYOB's sign-in screen.
- This is MYOB's own login screen, not something Weel controls.
-
Select your company file, then enter that company file's own username and password on Weel's connect company file screen.
- These aren't the same credentials as your MYOB account login in step 2. A company file can have its own separate users.
- Select Complete integration.
If you've forgotten your company file username:
- Open the desktop version of MYOB AccountRight.
- Open the Setup menu and select User Access.
- On the Manage users tab, select yourself from the list of Company File Users.
- Find your Company file user name on the right, under Company file sign-on details.
- Enter this into the Username field on Weel's connect company file screen.
-
Select Complete integration.
- Can't find a username at all? Some company files still use the MYOB default. Try entering "Administrator" as the username with the password field left blank, then select Complete integration.
If you've forgotten your company file password:
- Ask another user with Administrator access to your company file to open the desktop version of MYOB AccountRight.
- Have them open the Setup menu, select User Access, then select you from the list of Company File Users on the Manage users tab.
- Have them enter a new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
- Enter your new password into the Password field on Weel.
-
Select Complete integration.
- No one else has Administrator access? Use MYOB's own Password Recovery service to recover your password, then enter it into the Password field on Weel and select Complete integration.
