Update your email address on the web or in the Weel mobile app; since email doubles as your login username, this also changes what you sign in with.
Before you start
If your organisation uses Single Sign-On (SSO), the Email Address field is disabled on both web and mobile, since SSO accounts are managed by your identity provider rather than by Weel. Contact your account administrator to change it instead.
Steps
On the web
- Click the cog/settings icon in the top-right corner of the header.
-
Select Account settings from the dropdown.
- You'll land on the Profile tab, which is selected by default.
- Click Edit Profile.
- Update the Email Address field.
- Click Update Profile to save your changes.
In the mobile app
- Tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
- Tap Profile.
-
Tap the pencil icon in the top-right corner to enter edit mode.
- The icon changes to a close (X) icon while you're editing.
- Update the Email Address field.
- Tap Save in the top-right corner.
What happens next
Your email updates immediately, with no confirmation link to click in your new inbox, and you keep using the same password with your new email as your login from now on. Weel emails your old address to confirm the change as a security check, and you can't switch to an email that's already used on another Weel account. If you're locked out or not sure which email is on file, contact your account admin or Weel Support.
