The Approvals page in Weel lets you review, approve, or decline pending requests from your team, including reimbursements, invoice payments, card expenses, and budget top-ups, all from one place. If you are new to how approvals work in Weel, start with What are Approvals? to understand the process before getting started.
Before you start
You will need to be assigned as an approver on an active approval rule to see and action pending requests. If you are not receiving approval requests, contact your Weel Admin to check your approval rule configuration.
Steps
- Log in to the Weel web app at app.letsweel.com.

In the left-hand navigation, select Approvals under the Spend Management menu.
- Blue - Pending another user's approval
- Yellow - Pending your approval
- Use the view filter at the top of the page to select My approvals to see only the items pending your action.
- Click on the item you want to review to open the full details, including the submitted amount, category, description, and any attached receipts or supporting documents.
- Review the details of the request.
- To approve, click the Approve button. To decline, click the Decline button. If your Admin has enabled Decline Comments, you will be prompted to add a reason before confirming.
- Confirm your action when prompted.
What happens next
Once you approve or decline a request, the submitter is notified by email and push notification. Approved items will move forward in the workflow, while declined items are archived and will not be processed for payment. If Decline Comments are enabled, the submitter will receive your reason and may be able to resubmit with corrections.
