When an approver goes on leave or is unavailable their approvals can be re-directed to a delegate approver.
You must been an Owner, Admin or a user with the Add and remove people permission to use this feature.
To assign a delegate approver:
- Open User management on the Weel web app
- Open the approver’s profile
- In the Delegation Settings section select their Delegate approver
- Click Update
- Now when the approver is Out of office all pending and new approvals will be redirected to the delegate assigned.
By default, the delegate approver for all users is the account Owner.
This feature is available to all customers on the Premium and Enterprise plans.
