When an approver with pending approval items is unavailable for a period of time their approvals can be re-directed to a delegate approver by assigning them as out of office.
You must been an Owner, Admin or a user with the Add and remove people permission to use this feature.
To assign an approver as out of office:
- Open User management on the Weel web app
- Open the approver’s profile
- In the Delegation Settings section select their Delegate approver
- Toggle on Out of office
- Enter a Start date and an End date
- Click Update
- Any pending (and new) approvals assigned to this user during the ‘Out of office’ period will be redirected to the selected delegate approver.
This feature is available to all customers on the Premium and Enterprise plans.
