Use this if a transaction hasn't exported into your accounting software because of an export error - normal transactions export automatically, so you won't need this often.
Steps
- Open the Transactions page.
- Open the transaction you want to sync.
-
Click the Manual [Integration] Sync button.
- Its label matches your connected accounting software, for example "Manual Xero Sync" or "Manual MYOB Sync."
- Note: This is only active when that transaction has an export error; otherwise it's greyed out, since there's nothing to resync.
What happens next
- Most exports happen automatically. Transactions normally export as soon as they clear, and Weel automatically retries any that get stuck, so most export errors resolve within a few minutes without you needing to click anything.
- Updates usually sync too. If you edit a transaction's category, description, or other expense details after it's exported, that update normally flows through automatically. It won't if the transaction is already reconciled, its accounting period is locked, or there's an organisation mismatch - in these cases, fix it in your accounting software first, then Weel can sync again.
- Covers all your accounting integrations - Xero, MYOB AccountRight, QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Business Central - the same way. One exception: Accounts Payable transactions currently can't export to NetSuite at all, so manual sync won't help there.
