When an approver goes on leave or is unavailable they assigned as their approvals can be re-directed to a delegate approver by assigning them as out of office.
You must been an Owner, Admin or a user with the Add and remove people permission to use this feature.
To assign an approver as out of office:
- Open User management on the Weel web app
- Open the approver’s profile
- In the Delegation Settings section toggle on Out of office
- Enter a Start date and an End date
- Click Update
- All new and pending approvals assigned to this user during the ‘Out of office’ period will be redirected to the delegate approver to avoid delays.
This feature is available to all customers on the Premium and Enterprise plans.
