Weel gives you two ways to get financial and user data out of your account: a dedicated Reports page with categorised reports for Premium and Enterprise plans, and an Export button on the Transactions page available on every plan. Both cover budgets, cards, employees, suppliers, transactions, and accounting, giving you the data you need for audits and reviews.
How It Works
Reports page (Premium and Enterprise plans)
View and export categorised financial and user data for audits, financial reviews, spend analysis, and user management. You'll find it under Reports in the left-hand navigation; the Basic plan sees an upgrade prompt instead.
-
Budgets & Cards: Export budget, top-up, allocation, and card data to support spend audits and card oversight.
- Budgets and subscriptions (including deleted): Name, type, status, auto top-up details, limits, spend, approvers, members, created and deleted dates.
- Budget top-up history: Requester, approver, budget name and type, requested amount, status, dates, reason.
- Employee allocation by budget: Employee, budget, auto top-up settings, available limit, spend this period.
- Company cards (including revoked): Cardholder, budget, card type and status, last 4 digits, colour, available limit, spend this period.
-
Employees: Export user, access, and allocation data to manage roles and permissions across your team.
- Employees (including deleted): Name, role, email, access permissions (Bills, Cards, Reimbursements), status, assigned budgets, created and deleted dates.
- Budget allocation by employee: The reverse of Employee allocation by budget, showing every budget each employee is allocated to, with auto top-up details, available limit, and spend this period.
- Employees with blocked budget cards: First and last name of employees blocked for incomplete expenses, so you can follow up.
- Suppliers (only shown if your business has Accounts Payable enabled): Export supplier records for verification and payment processing, including supplier name, BSB, account number, and address details.
-
Transactions: Export transaction and turnaround data for reconciliations, audits, and expense investigations.
- Transactions (including pending): Transaction ID, status, dates, merchant, type, category, budget, employee, amounts (AUD/FX), GST, attendees.
- Expense completion metrics: Tracks how many days each employee takes to complete expenses and each manager takes to approve them, to monitor expense-reporting turnaround.
- Accounts Payable (only shown if your business has Accounts Payable enabled): Export all Accounts Payable invoices, including those pending approval.
- Reimbursements (only shown if Reimbursements is enabled): Export reimbursement claims, including those pending approval, to track claim status and payment timing. Includes reimbursement ID, status, dates, merchant, category, employee, budget, currency, amount, GST, and description.
- Accounting: Export your chart of accounts setup for reconciliation and reporting configuration, including category name, custom category status, and linked accounting codes.
Transactions page export (all plans)
Click Export next to the filters at the top of the Transactions page to open a panel with three export options covering whatever transactions you currently have filtered.
- Export CSV: A detailed, line-by-line export. Columns can include Transaction ID, External Code (if enabled), Date, Time, Merchant, Transaction type, Category, Account Name or Account ID (manual accounting integration), Team Member, Budget/Subscription, Description (if enabled), any custom fields, Currency, Amount (Foreign), GST Inc or Tax and Tax Rate (direct tax), Amount in your default currency, Receipt, Approver, Approval date and decision, Purchase Order (if enabled), Attendees (if enabled), a Running Total column (date-range filters only), and Invoice Number.
- Export PDF: A simpler statement-style PDF with Date, Merchant, Card Last 4 (where relevant), Debit and Credit amounts in your default currency, and, when only a date range is filtered, a running Balance column plus opening and closing totals. This is the same file recommended as your official transaction statement for auditors.
- Export Tax Invoices: A zip file of the tax invoice and receipt documents attached to your card transactions, bills, and reimbursements, for any transaction with a receipt marked Available or Invalid.
Good to know
- These exports cover whatever transactions you currently have filtered or searched for, not your whole history by default, and you can select more than one export type to download together.
- Only cleared transactions are included; pending transactions typically clear within 3 to 5 business days and are added automatically once they do.
