Weel doesn't produce formal financial statements, but you can filter your Transactions table to any date range, such as a financial year, quarter, or month, and export it as a PDF or CSV. This covers most tax, bookkeeping, and compliance requests where you'd otherwise need a formal statement. If you specifically need a report for an auditor, see How do I get an official transaction statement for my auditor?
Before you start
You'll need:
- Access to your Weel account. Use a desktop browser rather than the mobile app for exports.
- The date range you need, for example, 1 July to 30 June for a financial year, or the start and end dates of a quarter or month.
Steps
- Open Transactions.
- Click Filter.
- Set the Date filter to the period you need, for example your financial year, quarter, or month.
- Apply any other filters, such as card, category, or status, if you only need a subset of transactions.
- Click Export.
-
Select Export PDF Statement for an audit-ready PDF, or tick Export CSV if you want the data in a spreadsheet, for example to import into accounting software.
- Download the file once it's ready.
What happens next
Your file downloads to your device with all transactions matching your filters. The PDF export is the most formal document Weel provides for showing your account activity or balance over a period, so use it wherever you'd otherwise supply a bank or financial statement.
Check the following if something looks off:
- If the export button doesn't respond or the date filter isn't applying, try a desktop browser, refresh the page, or clear your browser cache.
- Double-check your Date filter covers the transactions you expect before exporting again.
- If your account has been closed, you may not be able to export from Transactions. Contact Weel support for help getting historical records.
