The Weel mobile app is for anyone who needs to spend, submit expenses, or approve requests on the go, including Team Members, Admins, Owners, and Accountants. There's no role restriction: your assigned permissions, not your role name, control what you can do, just like on the web app. Most people lean on whichever app suits the job.
How It Works
- Team Members spend most of their time here, making payments, capturing receipts, and submitting expenses on the go.
- Admins, Owners, and Accountants manage budgets, integrations, roles and permissions, and reporting in the web app, then switch to mobile to approve requests and spend on the move.
- Permissions, not role names, control access: an Accountant granted approval or reporting permissions gets the same mobile features as an Admin.
- Add your Weel card to Apple Pay or Google Pay to tap and pay in-store, mobile-only.
- Capture receipts instantly with your phone's camera the moment you spend.
- Activate a physical card and set its PIN, both mobile-only tasks.
Good to know
- You need to create your Weel account via the web app first, after accepting your invite. The mobile app itself doesn't have a sign-up flow.
- The password you set up during account creation is the same one you'll use to log in to the mobile app.
