If a Weel transaction is deleted from Xero after being exported, you can re-export it without re-entering any expense details, using the Manual Xero Sync button.
Steps
- Open the Transactions page in Weel.
-
Filter by Status and select Export Error to find the transaction. Deleted-in-Xero transactions show a red Export Error tag in the Status column.
- You can also scan the Status column visually if you know roughly which transaction it is.
- Open the transaction to view its details.
-
Click Manual Xero Sync.
- If the button is greyed out, there's nothing to resync: the transaction may have already exported successfully, or it's missing an expense category. Add a category to make it eligible.
What happens next
Manual Xero Sync re-attempts the export as a new transaction. It doesn't restore the original, deleted entry, but once it succeeds, the Export Error tag clears and the transaction reappears in Xero.
This works the same way for every connected accounting integration, with the button labelled to match, for example Manual MYOB Sync or Manual QuickBooks Sync.
