Link your personal bank account so Weel can pay your reimbursement claims directly, using your Account Name, BSB, and Account Number.
Before you start
- The Reimbursement Bank Account section only appears once an Admin, Owner, or Accountant has enabled Reimbursements for your account in User Management. If you don't see it under Settings → Profile, ask your admin, or see How to enable staff members to request reimbursements.
- Have your Account Name, BSB, and Account Number ready.
- Only Australian bank accounts can be used for reimbursements.
Steps
Setting up your bank account for the first time? You can add your bank account from the web app or the mobile app.
Web app
- Log in to Weel from the website.
- Click the cog icon in the top-right corner.
- Click Account settings.
- Click Profile.
- Under Reimbursement Bank Account, enter the Account Name for your personal bank account (use the full account name).
- Enter the BSB.
- Enter the Account Number.
- Confirm the Account Number.
- Click Save.
Mobile app
- Submit your first reimbursement claim as usual.
- When prompted, tap Add bank details.
- Enter your Account Name, BSB, and Account Number, then confirm the Account Number.
What happens next
To change your bank account later, use the web app: go to Settings → Profile → Reimbursement Bank Account and click Change Account. Mobile only lets you view your saved BSB and account number, so use the web app to make any updates.
