Pending invites to join your Weel account never expire. An invite stays valid until the invited person accepts it and finishes account setup, or an admin cancels it: there's no time limit and no separate resend step. This gives you full control over who joins, without invites lapsing before someone's ready to accept.
How It Works
- No expiry: Pending invites never lapse, so a new team member can accept and finish account setup whenever it suits them.
- No resend needed: The same invite link stays live until it's accepted or cancelled, so there's nothing to expire or refresh.
- Cancel to re-invite: To fix a typo'd email or change someone's role before they've accepted, cancel the pending invite and send a new one.
- Pending invites in your People list: Pending invites appear inline in your People list, tagged Pending invite, alongside your active team members rather than in a separate list.
- Invites pending summary: A quick count of outstanding invites on the People page lets you add invited people to budgets or subscriptions ahead of time.
Good to know
- An invite is tied to the specific email it was sent to. If that email already belongs to an active user, or has another pending invite against it, you'll need to resolve the existing one (accepted, cancelled, or the user reactivated) before sending another.
