Work through these checks to find out why an invite hasn't arrived and get a new one sent, with more on how invites work in Understanding Pending Staff Invites.
Steps
- Check the email address for typos. Open People > Pending Invites and confirm you've got the exact address right; it's the most common cause of a missing invite.
- Ask the invitee to check spam, junk, and quarantine folders. Their email provider or IT security tools may have filtered it automatically.
- Give it a little time before troubleshooting further. Weel sends the invite as soon as you click Invite, so if it hasn't turned up, move on to the next steps rather than waiting.
- Go to People > Pending Invites. There's no separate Resend button in Weel, so sending a fresh copy means cancelling and re-inviting.
- Delete the existing pending invite for that person.
- Send a new invite to the same email address. This sends a brand new invite email straight away, and because a pending invite link never expires, nothing the invitee has already started is lost.
- Ask your IT team to allowlist help@letsweel.com and the letsweel.com domain if your organisation uses strict inbound email filtering. The sending address stays the same even with a customised invite email design.
- Rule out a blocked or suppressed address. If an address has bounced repeatedly or been marked as spam, Weel's email provider may stop delivering to it. Invite the person using a different, active address, or contact Support to check its delivery status.
- Confirm aliases, shared mailboxes, and distribution lists aren't the problem. Weel accepts any validly formatted address, including plus-style aliases. If delivery still fails, the more likely cause is filtering on that mailbox or list itself.
- Contact Weel Support if the invite still hasn't arrived. Provide the exact email address you invited, your business name, and roughly when you sent it so they can check delivery status directly with our email provider.
