Weel doesn't transfer balances between business profiles directly, so withdraw the balance from your old profile and transfer it into your new one.
Before you start
- Your new business profile needs to already be approved.
- You need to be an Admin or Owner on the business requesting the withdrawal.
- The business needs to have completed verification.
Steps
- Contact Weel Support to request a withdrawal from your old business profile, either in the app or at help@letsweel.com. Include the amount you want withdrawn and your destination bank details: BSB, account number, and account name.
- Wait for Support to process the withdrawal to your nominated bank account. Weel doesn't offer a self-service way to withdraw from your account balance directly.
-
Switch to your new business profile once the funds land in your bank account. Click your business name in the top-right corner of the web app and select the other profile from the dropdown.
- This works the same way on every plan. Switching only changes which business you're viewing; it doesn't move money, and balances are never pooled between businesses even if they share a login or ABN.
- Go to Settings > Account Balance in your new business profile to find its BSB (Australia) or account number (New Zealand) and account name: Nium Pty Ltd for Australia, or NIUM (NEW ZEALAND) LIMITED for New Zealand (Weel's funding accounts are issued through its banking partner, NIUM).
-
Transfer the funds from a bank account with the same name as your Weel business. A name mismatch can delay or block the transfer, and RTGS transfers aren't supported.
- Your first transfer to a new account can take up to 7 business days to land. After that, transfers made before the daily cut-off typically settle the same day.
What happens next
If you manage multiple businesses, the Multi-entity Dashboard lets you view both balances side by side to confirm the transfer landed; like switching, it's for viewing only and doesn't move money. Closing your old business profile afterwards is a separate, optional step that Support can help with whenever you're ready.
