Weel doesn't support Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) deposits into your account balance, in either Australia or New Zealand. In Australia, use a standard NPP or BECS transfer instead. In New Zealand, use a standard domestic transfer instead, since there's no NPP or BECS equivalent. If you've already sent one, contact support straight away rather than waiting for it to return.
How It Works
- No RTGS support: Weel doesn't accept RTGS deposits in Australia or New Zealand.
- In Australia, use NPP or BECS: RTGS isn't supported, so send a standard NPP or BECS transfer instead.
- In New Zealand, use a standard transfer: there's no NPP or BECS equivalent, so use the account details shown in Weel.
- RTGS deposits don't auto-return: unlike a rejected transfer, they must be manually traced and refunded. Contact help@letsweel.com as soon as you notice the mistake.
- Two documents confirm the trace: a bank statement showing the account number (and BSB, for Australian accounts) and registered company name, plus proof of remittance with the trace number.
- Refunds take up to 10 business days: once we have both documents, funds are returned to the account the deposit was originally sent from.
