Some online checkouts ask for a billing name and address before completing a card payment. For your Weel card, both come from existing details: your billing name is your Cardholder name, and your billing address is your business's registered address, already shared with our card-issuing partner. Knowing this means fewer failed checkouts.
How It Works
- Billing name: Enter your own full name, matching the Cardholder name in your Card details. Each card belongs to one team member, not the business, so that's the name any check compares against. There's no separate billing name to set; it's always the name already on your card.
- Billing address: Enter your business's registered address (ASIC/ATO in Australia; Companies Office/Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand). It's the address Weel gives our card-issuing partner when your business is set up.
- Registered or trading address: Your registered address and trading address (principal place of business) can differ if they were recorded separately when your business was verified. Our card-issuing partner's address check accepts either one, so use your registered address first, or your trading address if you'd rather.
Good to know
- Show card details: The Weel app only lists Cardholder name, Card number, Expiry, and CVC. It doesn't show or store a billing address, so there's nothing to copy from there directly.
