Can't sign in to Weel? This article points you to the right fix, fast. It covers the most common sign-in problems, from a rejected password to landing in the wrong business, and links straight to the detailed guide for each one. Use it as your first stop before contacting Support.
Find your situation
- Your password is being rejected. Don't keep guessing: reset it directly. See How to reset your password.
- The password reset email never arrived. Check your spam folder first, then see How to troubleshoot a missing password reset email. The reset link expires 30 minutes after it's sent, so request a fresh one if it's been a while.
- Your SMS verification code isn't arriving. See How to fix issues receiving your SMS verification code when signing in to Weel, which also covers switching to an authenticator app as a more reliable alternative.
- A 6-digit code arrives, but Weel says it's incorrect. This is usually a stale or expired code. Requesting a new one invalidates the old one, and it's easy to enter the older code by mistake. Request a fresh code and enter it right away.
- Your authenticator app's code is being rejected. See How to reset your authenticator app's connection to Weel.
- You've lost or replaced your 2FA device. See How to sign into Weel if you get locked out without a 2FA device.
- You've recently changed your phone number. See How to update your phone number. You don't need a confirmation code to make the change itself.
- You've been asked to complete a liveness check. It's completed by the person whose identity is actually being relied on, not necessarily the admin who started the request (for example, an owner change, MFA reset, or payout-limit increase).
- You're signed in but seeing the wrong business. Switch businesses from the dropdown under your business name in the top-right of the header, available to everyone on every plan. See How to change businesses in the web app or, on mobile, How to change businesses in the mobile app.
- Your company uses single sign-on. For SAML, see How to Set Up SAML Single Sign-On (SSO). Weel also supports OIDC-based SSO as a separate integration path (see Understanding SAML SSO Support for Weel). Contact your account manager for guided setup.
